Eric Taylor and The Drop Shadows!

We’ve been busy getting Mineral School ready for three very special guests: On Saturday, June 21, Texas singer-songwriter Eric Taylor (that’s him on the left) will play for us at an informal dinner concert, with Texas-influenced Seattle duo The Drop Shadows (that’s them, Jeanine Walker and Steve Mauer, on the right) opening. We can’t wait to sit down with a plate of barbecue and a beer and welcome summer with these six-stringed sensations. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a dinner buffet, with music starting around 7:00 p.m. Brown Paper Tickets hooks you up here.

The Mt. Rainier Regional Visitors Center co-sponsors and show proceeds benefit Mineral School, so we can begin bringing even more creative people here to develop and present their work. We’ll offer free tent camping out back the night of the show and keep the gym’s locker rooms open.
